Can I eat eggs for esophageal cancer?

Many people have heard the phrase: “Esophageal cancer patients should not eat eggs because they are hairy.” So, for esophageal cancer patients, can eggs be eaten or not? We have to make it clear that there is no scientific basis for the saying that “eggs are hairy and cannot be eaten”! Medical researchers at home and abroad have found that eggs are in fact a very good thing for cancer. Scientists have isolated an IGY antibody against stomach cancer cells from eggs, and animal experiments have shown that this antibody can kill most stomach cancer cells without damaging normal tissue cells. Besides, cancer patients, especially after surgery and radiotherapy, are weak and should eat some eggs to nourish their bodies because they are rich in protein, which can enhance their physical fitness and cancer-fighting ability. For some patients, eggs should be eaten sparingly, depending on the specific situation. Which patients are not suitable to eat? Special attention should be paid to patients with biliary obstruction, uremia, severe liver and kidney impairment or pancreatic tumors, who should not eat eggs. If some tumor patients have high blood lipids, they need to control their egg intake, and fried eggs should be prohibited. Therefore, whether tumor patients can eat eggs after chemotherapy depends on the specific situation of the patients, but of course, the nutritional supplement must be kept up. How to eat more nutritious? When consuming eggs, it is advisable to boil or steam them in plain water, as this can better preserve their nutrition. Studies have shown that the protein digestibility of boiled eggs in the shell is as high as 99.7%, and almost all of them can be absorbed and used by the body, which is the best way to eat eggs. Patients who can only consume liquid or semi-liquid food, such as esophageal cancer, can consume egg flower soup, such as tomato egg flower soup, or egg custard. When consuming egg flower soup, you can add tomatoes and spinach, etc. When making egg custard, you can drizzle appropriate amount of soy sauce on the surface to season it, or you can add milk mixed with eggs and steam it, which is delicious and nutritious and free to play. So, for brined eggs, tea eggs, or with too much oil fried, fried eggs, or not to eat!
