The term “great aunt” generally refers to a woman’s menstrual period. There are many reasons why a stomach ache does not come with menstruation, which may be caused by intrauterine pregnancy, ectopic pregnancy, gynecological inflammation, and fast approaching menstruation.
1. Intrauterine pregnancy: when a woman is conceived, the level of progesterone in her body does not fall, maintaining the uterine lining and creating conditions for the fertilized egg to settle, so she won’t get her period; when the fertilized egg settles, it stimulates the uterine lining, plus the uterus enlarges after pregnancy, so the woman may experience the symptoms of abdominal pain.
2. Ectopic pregnancy: the fertilized egg is deposited in a part of the uterine cavity other than the uterine cavity, which is called ectopic pregnancy. Tubal area is the most common. The stimulation of the fallopian tube by the gestational sac will cause thickening and inflammation of the fallopian tube, resulting in pelvic effusion and other conditions, and even rupture of the fallopian tube, causing abdominal pain in patients.
3. Gynecological inflammation: gynecological inflammation, such as cervicitis, pelvic inflammatory disease, endometritis, etc., due to the stimulation of local tissues by inflammation, may lead to pelvic tissue congestion, edema, pelvic effusion, resulting in abdominal pain.
4. Fast approaching menstruation: women’s stomach pain may also be due to the imminent onset of menstruation, prostate hormone secretion caused by uterine contraction or pelvic congestion, because female ovulation is affected by a number of factors, there may be a staggering of ovulation, so menstruation will be staggering as well. Usually, it is normal to have your period within a week of the wrong time.
There may be other reasons for the stomach pain and lack of menstruation, so it is recommended to consult a doctor in time, complete the relevant examinations, clarify the cause under the guidance of a professional doctor, and actively target the treatment to avoid delaying the condition.
