What’s wrong with babies with high foreheads?

The condition of high forehead in infants can usually be categorized into physiological factors, such as heredity, or pathological factors, such as hydrocephalus, calcium deficiency, and so on.
1. Physiological: infants whose parents have a prominent forehead may have a high forehead due to hereditary reasons, which is a common physiological phenomenon and does not require special treatment.
2. Pathologic:
(1) Hydrocephalus: high forehead in infants cannot be ruled out due to hydrocephalus, which mainly refers to the obstacle of cerebrospinal fluid secretion, flow or absorption due to various reasons, so a large amount of accumulation in the brain, and the above symptoms appear.
(2) Calcium deficiency: high forehead in infants can not be excluded to be related to calcium deficiency. Projection of forehead caused by calcium deficiency is mainly due to cartilage not being able to be calcified or not being calcified in time, thus causing bone deformity, which usually occurs in infancy and early childhood.
