What are the signs of advanced colon cancer

Late stage colon cancer may have digestive tract manifestations such as abdominal pain, intestinal obstruction, blood in stool, constipation, diarrhea, etc., and may also have clinical manifestations of metastatic sites such as cough, chest pain, bone pain, etc.

1. Gastrointestinal manifestations: colon cancer in late stage may have abdominal pain due to local mass compression, necrosis, perforation, right half colon cancer often has diarrhea, blood in stool, and left half colon cancer may have intestinal obstruction, difficulty in defecation and other clinical manifestations.

Lung metastasis can present clinical manifestations such as cough and chest pain, liver metastasis can present clinical manifestations such as right upper abdominal pain and loss of appetite, and bone metastasis can present clinical manifestations such as bone pain in metastatic site or pathologic fracture.

Different patients with advanced colon cancer may have different clinical manifestations, and some clinical manifestations are not unique to advanced patients, such as abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhea and other manifestations of early colon cancer.
