Is PT2n1 early or intermediate

The staging of PT2N1 generally belongs to the intermediate stage, and may also belong to the advanced stage, and generally does not belong to the early stage. The staging of PT2N1 belongs to the postoperative pathological staging, but there is no mention of M in the staging, which stands for whether there is distant metastasis or not, and there are two possibilities of M clinically, M0 (without metastasis) and M1 (with distant metastasis). The N1 in the PT2N1 staging indicates that the cancer lesion has undergone regional lymph node metastasis, so if the patient does not have distant metastasis, then according to the staging criteria of TNM, the patient’s staging generally belongs to the intermediate stage. If distant metastasis has occurred, the clinical staging is advanced. Generally, regional lymph node metastasis and distant metastasis do not exist in the early stage of cancer lesions. Moreover, the primary foci of early lesions are mostly T1 or T2.
