1, the items covering the wound or trauma (handkerchiefs, clothing, dressings, towels, etc.) should be as clean as possible: no obvious dirt on the surface, with the aim of minimizing the chance of wound infection. Because there are a large number of pathogenic bacteria and harmful substances in the environment, especially Clostridium tetani, Clostridium perfringens, Pseudomonas aeruginosa (Pseudomonas aeruginosa) and other special pathogenic bacteria into the human body, can cause serious consequences, even life-threatening. 2, the application of acupressure hemostasis method should be noted: (1) when doing carotid compression, do not compress bilateral carotid arteries at the same time, so as not to cause cerebral ischemia. Patients may faint, fall, etc. (2) When bleeding from the palms and fingers, compress both the radial and ulnar arteries to achieve hemostasis. If only one of the vessels is compressed, it cannot be used for hemostatic purposes. (3) When the fingers bleed, the finger arteries on both sides of the fingers should be compressed at the same time, otherwise the hemostatic effect is not good. 3, the use of tourniquet to stop bleeding should pay attention to: (1) the tourniquet elasticity should be appropriate. Too loose to stop the bleeding effect is not good; too tight to easily damage the normal tissue. The distal artery pulsation disappears and bleeding stops as appropriate. (2) Do not tie the tourniquet directly on the limb, but wrap the limb with towel, fabric or clothing before using the tourniquet to avoid damaging the skin. (3) When using a tourniquet, there should be obvious markings to indicate the time when the tourniquet is used or the time when the blood flow is blocked, so that after the patient leaves the scene, it is easy for others to understand the situation and relax the tourniquet in time to prevent bleeding necrosis of the limb due to prolonged blockage of blood flow. The tourniquet is usually relaxed for 2-3 minutes every 30 minutes. If the bleeding does not stop when the tourniquet is relaxed, use your fingers to compress the artery to temporarily stop the bleeding. A tourniquet should be used for a total of 1 hour, with a maximum of 4 hours. If a tourniquet needs to be used again after relaxation, it should be moved several centimeters proximally and not repeatedly wrapped around the same area to avoid damage to local soft tissues. (4) When using a tourniquet at low ambient temperature, pay attention to the warmth of the limb. Because after the blood circulation of the limb is blocked, the ability to resist low temperature decreases significantly, and frostbite is likely to occur. (5) Loosen the tourniquet slowly to prevent the sudden increase of blood in the limb and affect the blood distribution of the whole body, resulting in adverse reactions such as blood pressure fluctuation and dizziness. (6) Try not to use a tourniquet in the middle and lower 1/3 of the upper arm to prevent injury to the radial nerve. 4, careful use of cloth tape hemostasis method: because cloth tape (and other items) is not elastic, stranded loose terrific effect; stranded tight easily damage the local tissue.
