What can I do to treat fibroids so they don’t come back?

The recurrence rate of fibroids after myomectomy is high, generally 20%-30%. Laparoscopic resection of fibroids is not easy to be observed or touched by the naked eye unlike open, so the recurrence rate is higher, up to 60%, and many fibroids patients reflect that recurrence occurs 3-6 months after laparoscopic surgery. So what are the reasons for recurrence of fibroids? 1, although the surgery has removed the fibroids, but the pathogenic factors of fibroids still exist. 2, the recurrence of fibroids is related to the pathological nature of fibroids. It was observed that the recurrence rate of uterine fibroids with red degeneration was increased. It has been observed that postoperative pregnancy is associated with fibroid recurrence, and it is believed that postoperative pregnancy reduces the chance of recurrence, probably because pregnancy inhibits the formation and growth of new fibroids. The recurrence rate of fibroids after high intensity focused ultrasound ablation is relatively low, because the fibroid tissue exists in the body in a coagulated necrotic state after this treatment, and the necrotic tissue gradually shrinks and does not cause harm to the body anymore, but has a positive activation effect on the immunity of the body.
