How many days after menstruation can I detect pregnancy?

In women with regular menstrual cycles, pregnancy can be detected when the menstrual period is delayed for about a week and a blood test for increased chorionic gonadotropin levels or a gynecological ultrasound is performed to detect the growth of a gestational sac in the uterine cavity. The egg and sperm will unite and develop into a fertilized egg, which will gradually be transplanted into the uterine cavity to grow and settle. Therefore, the levels of chorionic gonadotropin and progesterone will increase, which can be used to determine whether or not a woman is pregnant by the increase of hormone levels in her body; at the same time, women who are sensitive during this period may experience early pregnancy reactions such as morning sickness and vomiting, which can be used as auxiliary symptoms of early pregnancy. In conclusion, when women of childbearing age experience delayed menstruation, they should first go to the hospital to diagnose whether they are pregnant; if pregnancy does not occur after repeated tests, they need to actively search for the cause and deal with it symptomatically.
