For patients with pancreatic cancer, herbal medicine is an adjuvant treatment that will boost the immune system of the patient and play an auxiliary role in treatment, but not a leading role in treatment. For patients with pancreatic cancer, they may show yellow staining of the skin and sclera. In this case, patients need to check the liver function to see if the total bilirubin and direct bilirubin are elevated, and if they are, an ultrasound of the upper abdomen should be performed. If there is an elevation, an ultrasound of the upper abdomen should be performed. If an occupying lesion of the pancreas is indicated, the patient should undergo further enhanced CT and MRI examinations and, if necessary, ERCP examinations to further clarify the diagnosis. After the diagnosis is confirmed, the patient needs to actively consider surgical treatment, and the surgical procedure should be pancreaticoduodenectomy. After surgery, patients should routinely undergo 4-6 times of systemic intravenous chemotherapy. After surgical treatment and chemotherapy, pancreatic treatment is more standardized, but proprietary Chinese medicine is not used as the main treatment. For patients with inoperable pancreatic tumors, patients should also consider chemotherapy or radiation therapy, and then take oral Chinese medicine to improve immunity and do adjuvant therapy.
