What’s wrong with a sore throat when you talk too much?

Sore throat after talking a lot may be caused by vocal cord fatigue, acute laryngitis, acute pharyngitis and so on.
1. Vocal fatigue: If you talk a lot, especially if you talk in an inappropriate way, it may cause the mucous membrane of the vocal folds to become congested and swollen, thus causing sore throat symptoms.
2. Acute laryngitis: it may be caused by inflammation of the larynx due to excessive use of the voice, or it may be accompanied by infection or irritation, which can lead to a sore throat accompanied by hoarseness.
3. Pharyngitis: including acute pharyngitis and acute attacks of chronic pharyngitis, mainly because of talking more often, will cause some stimulation of the throat, thus causing the symptoms.
Talking more sore throat, must pay attention to rest and drink more water, if the symptoms continue to get no relief, need to consult a doctor in a timely manner to identify the cause of targeted treatment.
