Side effects of Kangxin Liquid

  Kangfu Xin Liquid is a Chinese medicinal preparation approved for marketing in China. The main ingredient is the ethanol extract of the dried body of American cockroach, which has the function of blood circulation, nourishing Yin and generating muscle. It can be used both orally and externally. It is used orally for the treatment of bruised tissues, bleeding stomach pain and gastric and duodenal ulcers; externally it is mainly used for the treatment of various wounds and various types of persistent ulcers, fistulas, burns, scalds and pressure sores.  In a study using topical combined with oral rehabilitative new liquid for the treatment of reflux esophagitis, of the 84 patients included, only one patient developed diarrhea and one patient developed nausea, with a significantly lower incidence of adverse reactions than in the control group.  In another study using rehabilitation new liquid combined with Baidoban ointment for the treatment of pediatric impetigo, it was noted that only 2 out of 134 children had transient mild pain that healed spontaneously without special treatment. The combination of the two drugs was both antiseptic and promoted skin growth, with significant therapeutic effects and good safety.
