How to diagnose and treat Alzheimer’s disease?

Patient: A gentleman is 70 years old and has been suffering from hepatitis A and hypertension for years, but never smokes or drinks, and his condition is being controlled by medication, but it is currently not working well and is getting worse. Main symptoms: 1.Repeatedly organize his things every day, and many of them are deliberately hidden; 2.Never thinks he is ill or has a bad memory, and does not want others to talk about his condition; if he is given some arithmetic problems or something to enhance his memory, he is not very cooperative; 3.Can forget almost everything he has just done, but his distant memory is clear; 4.Does not remember time and year, sometimes just entering winter, but he thinks it is in summer; 5. He is in good health, very healthy, likes to go out for a walk alone every day, as for some impressive communication with people, so many people do not remember; 6. Logical thinking is still there, and he can communicate with people in a normal logical way (except repeating a thing repeatedly or forgetting the content of the conversation just now). 1. What is the state of his condition (classification, early, middle or late stage)? 2. Can the disease be controlled now and how should it be controlled? 3.Wife is short-tempered and serious, she often loses her temper and complains because of the husband’s confusion, what should I suggest? 4.How to make him realize his condition and be willing to accept treatment and exercise? (Sometimes he forgets after talking about it)
