  What are hemorrhoids?
”Hemorrhoids are a common disease located in the anal area that can develop at any age, but the incidence gradually increases with age. It is a soft mass of veins formed by the dilation and flexion of the venous plexus under the mucous membrane at the end of the human rectum and under the skin of the anal canal. The most significant symptoms of hemorrhoids are blood in the stool and prolapse. Anal fissures, anal fistulas, mixed hemorrhoids, and obvious internal or external hemorrhoids are included in the disqualification range in the draft medical examination.
Why exactly are hemorrhoids not allowed to join the army?
Because the above-mentioned diseases can have a very big impact on military personnel who have been engaged in special occupations for a long time, both in terms of daily life and training. The specific effects are as follows.
1, suffering from severe hemorrhoids will often appear blood in the stool, anal prolapse from time to time, not only back to affect daily life, will also hinder the hard military training, even daily walking is more trouble, not to mention what running, jumping, for long-term physical training and combat tasks.
2, even some special techniques of the military, but also need to sit or stand for a long time to complete certain training tasks, and long standing and sitting will also aggravate the hemorrhoid condition.
3, soldiers often carry heavy loads, which increases the abdominal pressure of the body, thus aggravating the symptoms of hemorrhoids.
Therefore, hemorrhoid patients are generally not suitable to join the military, and even if they do, they will be returned at the time of re-examination. Therefore, if you have hemorrhoids, you must get rid of them as soon as possible so that you can have a healthy body and pass the medical examination and increase your hopes of being drafted into the army.
  Commonly used surgical procedures?
In recent years, minimally invasive treatment techniques have flourished and traditional surgical methods are gradually being replaced, with the main methods being
PPH surgery: i.e., anastomotic hemorrhoid circumcision, which has an ideal treatment effect for circumferential hemorrhoids, less surgical bleeding, less postoperative pain and fewer complications.
Vascular ligation bundle hemorrhoidectomy: applicable to all stages of hemorrhoids, less bleeding, clear operative field, and less postoperative pain, but less effective than PPH for the treatment of ring-fit hemorrhoids.
Hemorrhoidectomy (external peeling and internal ligation): It is the most classic surgical method, which is more widely used because it is convenient and easy to perform, and is suitable for all stages of hemorrhoids, the disadvantage is mainly bleeding and pain is more obvious.
Cryohemorrhoid therapy: The application of liquid nitrogen causes necrosis of the hemorrhoid nucleus tissue, and later the wound is delayed to heal, but there is the possibility of secondary bleeding, and the pain is long, the wound healing is slow, there are more hemorrhoids remaining, the recurrence rate is high, and there are certain limitations.
The special latex ring is placed on the root of the hemorrhoid and the hemorrhoid is necrotic and falls off in about 1 week. This method is easy to use and more popular with patients, but it is not suitable for stage 3 multiple hemorrhoids, the effect is not as good as hemorrhoidectomy, and the recurrence rate is higher.
Injection therapy: It is suitable for hemorrhoids with mild symptoms and prolapse, but the treatment effect is uncertain, requires high operator skill and has a high recurrence rate.
Ultrasonic knife hemorrhoidectomy: applicable to all stages, mainly used for smaller isolated hemorrhoid nuclei removal, with similar results to vascular ligation bundle hemorrhoidectomy.
Ultrasound-guided superior hemorrhoidal artery ligation: mainly for bleeding, or combined with the above methods, with reliable hemostasis and insignificant pain.
Warm tip: When the pre-anal disease is not serious, do not ignore it, eventually they will all develop into serious mixed hemorrhoids, anal fistula, prolapse or even intestinal cancer, therefore, whether you want to enlist in the military or not, anal disease needs to be taken seriously.
