Patients with metastatic gastric cancer can usually live for 3-12 months. Gastric cancer is a malignant tumor and metastasis may occur, such as liver metastasis, bone metastasis, lung metastasis and so on. If metastasis occurs, it suggests advanced stage tumor and patients have a relatively short survival time. The survival time varies with different pathological types, different age of patients, and different sensitivity to treatment. Some patients can only survive for about three months, while others can survive for a year. After the diagnosis of metastatic gastric cancer, comprehensive treatment must be carried out, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and also traditional Chinese medicine, which can reduce the pain of patients and prolong their survival time.
