Yellow snot and yellow sputum is a sign that you’re getting better.

Yellow nasal mucus and yellow sputum may not be almost cured, it is usually suggestive of an accompanying bacterial infection. Patients with respiratory tract infections, generally have a runny nose, cough, sore throat, coughing up phlegm and other symptoms, usually caused by viral infections, nasal mucosal congestion and edema, increased secretion, most of the beginning of the runny nose, usually with self-healing. If the patient has yellow nasal discharge and yellow sputum, it is not necessarily a sign of fast healing, but may instead be a hint of progression of the disease, usually due to poor resistance, respiratory infection symptoms can not be improved, and may be secondary to bacterial infections, which require timely medical attention. Patients with yellow nasal discharge and yellow sputum are advised to go to the hospital to avoid aggravation of the condition.
