What does 0.01 HIV antibody mean?

An HIV antibody result of 0.01s/co means that the patient does not have HIV antibodies in his body, which means that it is negative. If the patient is tested after the window period, it means that the patient is not infected with AIDS. In general, the normal value for HIV antibody testing in our country is between 0-1s/co, and only if it is greater than 1s/co does it indicate a positive antibody test. If the antibody test is positive, a confirmatory test should be performed. The confirmatory test is a protein blotting method to review the HIV antibodies, and only a positive protein blotting method can indicate that the patient is infected with HIV. Once the patient is diagnosed with AIDS, he or she should be treated with antiviral drugs as soon as possible to avoid progression to the AIDS stage.
