Chinese medicine talk about happiness, anger, sadness, pity, fear and fright, and their methods of detoxification

The seven primary emotions have the greatest impact on our energy flow. The major stressors in the overall system of body, mind and spirit are: fear, anger, trauma, sadness, worry, stress and over-excitement. (Translation: The TCM system classifies the seven emotions as joy, anger, sadness, thought, grief, fear, and fright.) All emotions and conditions that are relevant to emotional blockages are related to these seven basic emotions. By regulating yourself, managing these emotions and making them peaceful, you can completely remove the tightness and stress from your body. Fear dominates the emotions and drains the chi (energy). It is rooted in the idea of not being able to tolerate a particular situation, or perhaps the fear that we might lose some of the most important things (such as our lives, our beloved ones, our living conditions, our possessions, or our sanity). Fear is an objectifying emotion and the most powerful disease maker. Element: water. Organs: bladder, kidneys. Primary emotions: insecurity, indecision. [Yufu Point] Secondary Point: Located at the beginning of the medial side of both eyebrows. [Eye Point] Side Note: One of the keys to mastering fear is to focus on your whistling. Slowly whistle through the dantian for a total of seven whistles, slowly distending your belly as you inhale, then hold your whistle for a count of three, then exhale slowly with your mouth while your belly retracts as far inward as possible. Short comment: Panic attacks and phobias are usually related to anxiety (for the earth element, please refer to “worry”). Anger Repressed anger or inappropriate tantrums can be extremely harmful to the heart as well as other vital organs. Anger can be triggered by many different reasons, for example: feeling unfairly treated, not being understood, not getting what you want, feeling humiliated, etc. The key to dealing with anger is to ignore what makes you angry. The key to dealing with anger is to ignore the person or thing that makes us angry. Anger is energy that needs to be released and expelled from the system because it obscures vision and logic and often causes us to make hasty and impulsive decisions. Element: Wood. Primary point: Located on the right side, about below the rib cage, extending from the midline to the side. Secondary point: Located half a finger’s width from the end of the eye. [Pupil s point] Secondary point: If we are angry with someone, we must release this energy immediately. To do this we must forgive the person who angered us, and we also need to forgive ourselves for allowing others to cause our anger. As long as someone can make us angry, it means we can’t let go of something. If someone intends to provoke us, it is easier to deal with, and we should not lose energy over such things (for forgiveness, see “Trauma”). Short comment: Whistling exercises, screaming or shouting out loud will help to release the anger energy. Do some physical activities, such as running, jumping rope, screaming, etc. Trauma Being hurt is one of the worst feelings. It can lead to self-armedness, feelings of incompetence, loneliness, guilt, depression, and feelings of worthlessness. It makes you aware that you are constantly being taken advantage of and vulnerable. It is an in-between feeling that can lead to any number of problems: withdrawal, denial, confusion, anger, mistrust, and fear. Trauma resonates most deeply with the heart when we open ourselves up and become soft and vulnerable. This is a feeling we must learn to let go of, and observing other people’s behavior is just one way we can learn about ourselves. Do we see the hurt as coming at us? Do we seek various ways to grow? How do we deal with our own reality? Can others take away our joy? Do you love yourself? The only way to deal with trauma is to move forward, learn the lessons, and move on with our lives. Sharing intimacy can help us deal with trauma, and we must take responsibility and stop playing the role of the victim. Element: Fire. Organs: Heart and small intestine. [Houxi Point] P.S.: If we let go of the past, the power of forgiveness becomes the most liberating and healing power that is easy for us to use. We can never forgive too much! Through forgiveness, we break through the bondage of our past and let go of our karma. Forgive all those who have caused you harm. Short comment: By stimulating the main points of trauma and forgiveness, we regenerate our heart and liver and feel more alive. Worry causes us to lose a lot of energy, creating a tightness in the body that affects our digestion and metabolism. When we worry, we lose focus and have trouble getting things done, which in the long run affects our evaluation of ourselves and takes us out of the present moment. We are prone to accidents and distractions as a result. If we can deal effectively with the energy of worry, we can accomplish more and achieve our goals more easily. Element: Earth. Whenever our mind is full of thoughts and we can’t get rid of certain thoughts, tapping on the main point of worry can help us to stop our delusions and our recurring dreams and anxiety will soon disappear. Short comment: Many phobias are caused by anxiety, it is worthwhile to start from these points to effectively treat them. In doing any self-help treatment, if there is no symptom relief effect will need to seek professional advice. Five, grief Grief is always related to breaking up with a loved one or giving up a beloved object. This is a very helpful and necessary process in life. It is easier to bear and accept grief if we can be more open to the truth of not losing anything and, by doing so, understand the workings of the universe. Our attachment creates a longing for people, things, and objects in our lives that we no longer have. In pain or under great stress, we may fall into intense sadness and be overwhelmed, but suppressing these emotions is likely to lead to post-traumatic stress syndrome. In some cases of this type of syndrome, some people may continually battle with the past, and these people who lack support may not be able to overcome these emotions and must resort to alcohol, drugs or medical treatment. This is because crying alone or drowning in grief is usually not enough to release the grief and we need to get the energy flowing again to restore health, which is where emotional balancing techniques can be of great help. After grieving, we must restore our qi energy. The fastest way to do this is to revitalize all the emotional balance points one by one by means of appropriate self-affirmation statements. Short comment: Other patterns that are locked in the Golden Element are also related to holding fast to rigidity and perfectionism. This is a very difficult pattern to break, but with practice, anyone can relax and become more resilient. Stress is a cause of illness that we cannot ignore. Anything that destroys energy is stress, which is closely related to how we handle our encounters. It is completely attached to inner activities and has nothing to do with external events. We may deal with stress-filled feelings in the following ways: Resistance. Repression. Action, integration and release. What we resist will remain, and what we repress will chase us forever. The best way to deal with stress is to let it go like air: to act on what we can change and control. Accepting and integrating what we cannot change or control. Release the tension that prevents the free flow of energy. Element: Fire. Organs: Immune system and endocrine system (Ren and Dou Chakras). Primary emotions: repression of various emotions. Secondary emotions: reminiscence, confusion, suppressed anger, feelings of emptiness, insecurity, problems with concentration and memory. [Shuigou point] Secondary point: located at the intersection of the upper 1/3 and lower 2/3 of the line between the upper lip and the chin. [Chengjiao Point] Note: To remember the past is to live in the past again and no longer be in the present; to fall into daydream mode and be unable to deal with karma. We need to let go of “how we should have done it in the first place” and create what we really want in the present. Short comment: Learning to deal with stress is one of the most important skills in modern life. Staying calm and focused on the center of the commotion is the key to health and longevity. Over-excitement (neurological instability) Over-excitement and emotional instability occur all the time around us. In the pursuit of pleasure and excitement, we may become disconnected from our senses and become depressed, but by returning to our inner senses, we will once again connect with our inner being. By placing one hand on the forehead, we can connect the reflex areas of the left and right brain, which calms us and helps to unify the inner turmoil. It is especially effective to do a deep abdominal (dantien) whistle and to concentrate on “letting go” while whistling. Repeat the relaxing words of the self-affirmation statement until a balanced mood is re-established. Element: Fire. Organs: Pericardium and Sanjiao meridians (immune and endocrine system). Primary emotion: repressed sexual signs. Secondary emotions: fickleness, paranoia, indecision, confusion, sexual impotence, sexual frigidity, impotence, exhaustion, shock, intense trauma. Primary self-affirming statement: “I feel balanced and able to handle all challenges with grace, no matter how difficult they may be. Secondary Self-Affirmation Statement: “I feel a deep love for myself and accept that I have repressed my feelings about sexuality. Primary point: Located on the back of the hand, midway between the last knuckle and the wrist, in the alcove between the ring finger and little finger. [Zhongzhu point] Secondary point: Located next to the nail root of the middle finger, on the side near the index finger. Note: There are many ways and reasons to repress our sexuality, and they are not directly related to gender. Sexuality is a feminine and masculine trait that is shared by both men and women. Men tend to repress their feminine side and live mostly in denial; they repress their sexuality because they don’t know their most intimate feelings, and they may repress their masculine side because they are not assertive enough. Women, on the other hand, may be unable to deal with their emotions appropriately, and suppress their masculine side. Short comment: In this era of complex information, neurological instability is quite common. The input of various perceptions may become excessive and unable to relieve the imprisoned emotions, making us hyper and over-excited. Another possibility is that we become exhausted and depleted in the course of our lives. In our fast-changing world, traditional male and female roles become blurred as a result of repressed emotions.
