What should I do if I get rice particles in my nose?

If you get a grain of rice in your nose, you can blow your nose to get it out. If you are unable to remove the particles yourself, you can go to the hospital and seek medical help. If a person accidentally inhales a grain of rice during a meal, causing it to enter the nasal cavity, the patient can exhale forcefully through the nose to expel the grain of rice. Alternatively, the patient may choose to blow his/her nose with a tissue to expel the rice particles from his/her body. If the above methods fail to dislodge the rice particles, the patient can go to the ENT department on his/her own, where the doctor will conduct a nasal endoscopy or electronic nasopharyngoscopy, using special instruments or saline nasal rinsing to remove the rice particles from the body. In the future, patients should avoid inhaling rice particles when eating and develop the habit of chewing and swallowing slowly.
