Hypothyroidism, i.e. hypothyroidism, is an endocrine disease caused by insufficient synthesis, secretion or biological effect of thyroid hormones, and the treatment is mainly based on medication. Patients with hypothyroidism may have low metabolic syndrome, such as fatigue, weight gain, chills, bradycardia, drowsiness, memory and concentration loss. Treatment of hypothyroidism is based on drug therapy, and levothyroxine sodium tablets are generally preferred to maintain thyroid hormone levels within a reasonable range. When mucous edema coma is induced, oral or intravenous thyroxine supplementation is the treatment of choice, keeping the airway open, and intravenous hydrocortisone injection when necessary. Patients with suspected hypothyroidism symptoms are advised to go to the hospital, and those diagnosed with hypothyroidism should actively cooperate with the doctor for treatment.
