Symptoms of metrorrhagia caused by blood stasis

Leakage caused by Blood stasis (excessive menstrual flow or dribbling) mainly manifests as incessant or sudden discharge of menstrual blood, which is purplish in color and has lumps. The formula consists of Angelica Sinensis, Rhizoma Ligustici Chuanxiong, Panax quinquefolii, Myrrh, Wu Ling Ling Yi, Tan Pi Charcoal, Fried Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae, Fried Ailanthus, Colla Corii Asini, Fried Rhizoma Gastrodiae, Fried Pu Huang, and Dragon Bone. For cold pain in the lesser abdomen, add aconite and gunpowder ginger, etc. For distension and pain in the chest and hypochondrium (a collective term for the chest and ribcage area), add Chaihu and Xiangsui.
