On April 16, 2014, the MDT discussion on “Multidisciplinary Collaborative Treatment of Breast Cancer” was held again in the conference room of the Department of General Surgery of Xuanwu Hospital, hosted by Prof. Luo Bin of the Breast Surgery Specialized Group and attended by several experts from the Department of General Surgery, Department of Breast Oncology, Department of Radiotherapy, Department of Pathology and PET Center of Beijing. Several experts from Beijing General Surgery, Breast Oncology, Radiotherapy, Pathology and PET Center, as well as American doctors who came to visit our hospital for exchange, attended the discussion. The MDT case study discussed the best treatment plan for two patients with breast cancer recently admitted to the General Surgery Department of Xuanwu Hospital of Capital Medical University. We reached a consensus to design the best treatment plan for the patients. The MDT of “Multidisciplinary Collaborative Breast Cancer Treatment” has received great support from many sister hospitals and departments in Beijing, and has brought good news to patients.
