Location and symptoms of uterine fibroids

Most people may not show any symptoms in the early stages of fibroids. The symptoms of fibroids are related to the location where they occur. The uterine body is divided into several parts. If the tumor grows in the mucosal layer, there will be an increase in menstrual flow; if it grows in the smooth muscle or in the interstitial layer, early fibroids may also be asymptomatic. Many patients are found to have fibroids by physical examination without any manifestations. Most fibroids are fibroids of the body of the uterus and are detected only after the onset of symptoms. The most important manifestation is heavy menstrual flow. Another manifestation is that when the tumor is small, it cannot be felt, and when it is large, a mass can be felt. In women, the uterus is in the pelvic cavity. Under ultrasound, the size of the uterus is five, four, three centimeters, usually not out of the pelvic cavity, under the pubic bone, and the uterus can be felt on the pubic bone. If the size grows to about 12 weeks can be felt, it will cause pressure, there is frequent urination, but also constipation.
