When the child is in the fetal stage, abnormalities in the vertebrae can be detected by ultrasound or fetal MRI. After the child is born (infancy), we should always pay attention to the morphology of the child’s spine, such as observing whether the back is equally flat, whether the two shoulders are equally high, and whether the head is tilted to one side.
