Spongiform hemangioma, which refers to capillary hemangioma, has a typical growth period, from birth to 3 months, from nothing to something, from something to big, and gradually developing. 3-6 months is the period of rapid growth and development, called the crazy period, and 6-12 months is the period of rapid growth, i.e., within one year of age is the period of hemangioma development and growth. This kind of benign capillary hemangioma grows relatively fast, so it needs to be detected as early as possible during its rapid development and early therapeutic intervention. In fact, there is another type of hemangioma, namely, spongy venous malformation, which is different from spongy capillary hemangioma in that it has lifelong developmental characteristics and develops progressively from birth to 70 or 80 years of age without end.
