Can allergic rhinitis in children heal on its own?

Allergic rhinitis in children does not heal on its own. Allergic rhinitis is caused by the inhalation of allergens in the nose after the body’s immunity and resistance have been reduced. Allergens are commonly found in dust, pollen, mites, and cold and warm air irritation. Patients need to go to the hospital to check for allergen antibodies to clarify what substances their bodies are allergic to. Allergic rhinitis can cause symptoms such as persistent nasal congestion, bilateral runny nose, morning sneezing, nasopharyngeal itching, eye itching, eyelid congestion, and generalized papular rash. On examination, the mucous membrane of the turbinates is edematous and pale bilaterally, with a positive pinprick test and a large amount of clear water discharge. In terms of treatment, first of all, the patient needs to avoid allergens, wear a mask when going out, and keep the room temperature and humidity. After entering the remission period, patients need to exercise, such as running or swimming, to improve immunity and resistance, in order to completely cure.
