Fatty liver should be registered with Gastroenterology. Fatty liver, known as fatty liver disease, is a medical condition. The liver is a digestive organ and its main roles include synthesis, secretion, detoxification and metabolism. There are two types of fatty liver. One category is non-alcoholic fatty liver, also known as simple fatty liver. The cause of the disease is a high-calorie diet and lifestyle habits of eating more and moving less, with type 2 diabetes and obesity as predisposing factors. Simple fatty liver disease usually does not require medication and can be treated with lifestyle changes. The other type of liver disease is alcoholic liver disease, caused by chronic alcohol consumption. Alcoholic liver disease generally has a good prognosis, and most alcoholic liver disease can be recovered as long as alcohol can be stopped, but if alcoholism persists, it may eventually develop into hepatitis, and in severe cases, cirrhosis, and finally liver failure.
