Cure for triple-negative breast cancer

The methods of treating triple-negative breast cancer include chemotherapy, radiotherapy, surgery, targeted therapy and so on. Triple-negative breast cancer generally needs comprehensive treatment, and the specific treatment method depends on the patient’s condition. 1. Chemotherapy: chemotherapy is divided into neoadjuvant chemotherapy, adjuvant chemotherapy and advanced relief therapy. Neoadjuvant chemotherapy refers to chemotherapy before surgery, aiming at shrinking the tumor to be conducive to surgery; adjuvant chemotherapy is applicable to triple-negative breast cancer with invasive cancer foci larger than 5mm or lymph node metastasis; advanced salvage therapy is the main method of systemic treatment for advanced triple-negative breast cancer. 2. Radiotherapy: radiotherapy is to destroy and eradicate the primary foci or metastatic foci of local tumor through local treatment of radiation. It is mainly applied to breast-conserving patients and patients with lymph node metastasis, and can reduce recurrence and improve survival rate through radiotherapy, while for advanced patients, palliative radiotherapy can be selectively applied to certain lesions. 3. Surgery: According to the patients’ breast and regional lymph node lesions, they can choose breast-conserving surgery, reconstruction surgery, total mastectomy, sentinel lymph node biopsy surgery and axillary lymph node dissection surgery, and other surgical methods. 4. Targeted therapy: Sacituzumab Govitecan, a new Trop2 ADC, has been approved for the treatment of adult patients with unresectable locally advanced or metastatic triple-negative breast cancer who have received at least two systemic therapies. Patients are advised that if they are diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer, they should actively cooperate with their doctors.
