Whether or not you can continue to take hyperthyroid medication after your liver function has returned to normal requires identifying the cause of the liver function abnormality.
If the liver function was abnormal before the use of hyperthyroid medication, it may be due to hyperthyroidism, and then the liver function can be recovered to allow the use of antithyroid medication.
