A white spot in the anus may be caused by condyloma acuminatum, perianal eczema, perianal herpes, and folliculitis conditions. 1. Condyloma acuminatum: it is caused by HPV virus infection, and it will appear as a fleshy bump in the anus or genital area. In the early stage of condyloma acuminatum, there may be grayish-white dots locally or grayish-white papillae-like protrusions. 2. Perianal eczema: pimples, papules or blisters may appear around the anus. The blisters are crystal clear and look like white dots, accompanied by intense itching. 3. Perianal herpes: If the patient has perianal herpes, granular blisters will appear, accompanied by a tingling sensation, and the lesions will recover and may leave white dots. 4. Folliculitis: If the white spots are surrounded by small red circles, the local skin is raised, accompanied by pain, and there are hairs in the middle of the white spots, it may be folliculitis. It is recommended that patients go to the hospital in time for examination, clear diagnosis, and strictly comply with the doctor’s instructions to give reasonable treatment.
