Symptoms of severe breast hyperplasia are breast nodules or lumps, breast pain, nipple discharge and so on. 1. Breast nodules or lumps: When breast hyperplasia is serious, multiple lumps can often be touched in one or both breasts, which are of different shapes and sizes, often with tenderness, and mostly found in the upper outer part of the breast. The size and texture of the lumps often change with the menstrual cycle, usually before menstruation, the lumps increase in size and hard texture; after menstruation, the lumps decrease in size and are tough but not hard. 2. Breast pain: when breast hyperplasia is serious, it often manifests as breast swelling and pain or pins and needles pain, and the range of pain can be one or both breasts, usually one side. Some people have such severe pain that they dare not touch their breasts, and some even affect their daily life and work. Some breast pain will radiate to the armpit or the back of the shoulder. 3. Nipple discharge: patients will have spontaneous or extrusion nipple discharge, the color is mostly yellowish or milky white.
