How long is the right time for children to eat

How long is the right time for children to eat cannot be generalized, but is mostly related to the specific age of the child and his or her eating habits. Children have a wide age range (0-18 years old), and in everyday life we refer to children from early childhood to school age, i.e., 1-13 years old. If the child is young, eating may often be done with the help of family members and may take a relatively long time. If the child is able to eat independently and has gradually developed good eating habits, the meal time may be relatively short, and it is recommended that each meal take about 20-30 minutes. However, whether it is a child who cannot eat independently or a child who can eat independently, we should not be more concerned about the specific time that the child eats, but whether the child’s nutrition is balanced and whether there is discomfort after eating. If the child eats slowly but is happy, comfortable and healthy, there is no need to intervene excessively.
