In general, reflux gastritis may cause back pain. Reflux gastritis, i.e. bile reflux gastritis, also known as alkaline reflux gastritis, gastritis with bile reflux, duodenogastric reflux, etc., can be caused by diabetes, peptic ulcer, psychiatric factors, drugs such as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and gastrointestinal surgery, which causes bile, pancreatic fluid and other substances to flow back into the stomach from the duodenum, resulting in chronic inflammation, erosion, or even ulceration of the gastric mucosa. Reflux gastritis can be manifested as pain in the upper and middle abdomen, which is often aggravated after meals, and can also cause back pain; bloating caused by dyspepsia or gastric emptying obstruction; yellowish-green bile in vomitus, and vomitus often occurs at night, and vomitus can contain a small amount of food and blood; and can be accompanied by regurgitation of acid, belching, and loss of appetite, and other symptoms.
