Treatment of long lung nodules after early surgery for lung cancer includes radiofrequency ablation, surgical resection, and close observation. The appearance of new lung nodules after early surgery for lung cancer does not exclude the possibility of malignancy, and timely clinical intervention should be made, and PET-CT examination can be considered to assess the benignity and malignancy. If malignancy is considered and the patient opposes surgery, radiofrequency ablation surgery can be considered, which can achieve better efficacy and less trauma. Thoracoscopic surgical resection of pulmonary nodules can achieve better efficacy, as well as post-surgical pathologic tests to clarify the diagnosis. For nodules that are considered more likely to be benign by PET-CT, close CT examination can be performed to assess changes, and if there are no changes, close follow-up is sufficient, with changes handled at any time.
