How long is the recovery period for brain hemorrhage

The recovery period of cerebral hemorrhage is related to the site of cerebral hemorrhage and the amount of hemorrhage, and the recovery time varies and cannot be generalized. Brain hemorrhage can be broadly divided into the following two conditions: 1. critical site hemorrhage, large bleeding volume, most of them deteriorate rapidly within the first few hours and may die within minutes, even too late for resuscitation. 2. less bleeding volume, small lesions, non-critical site hemorrhage, less symptoms, good absorption of hematoma, some patients recover better or even fully return to normal, and patients can survive for a long time. The symptoms of cerebral hemorrhage improve later than those of cerebral infarction, and rehabilitation should be started after the patient’s condition is stabilized, and the speed and degree of recovery of surviving patients vary from person to person. The recovery time of hemorrhage depends mainly on the location and size of the hematoma, followed by the patient’s age, the cause of hemorrhage, and the occurrence and severity of complications after hemorrhage, such as hydrocephalus, pulmonary embolism, increased intracranial pressure, myocardial infarction, pneumonia, etc. Timely and standardized rehabilitation treatment after cerebral hemorrhage is crucial. It is recommended that patients should undergo rehabilitation exercises after their condition is stabilized, and cooperate with auxiliary treatments such as acupuncture and massage on the basis of limb function exercises to improve prognosis and promote recovery.
