What is muscle weakness?

Myasthenia gravis is caused by neuromuscular transmission disorders, and the skeletal muscles of the affected person are prone to fatigue. The disease has a long duration and is difficult to cure, but it can be relieved with rest and medication. First of all, the cause of myasthenia gravis is systemic, but the external manifestation of the disease varies from one muscle to another, and the degree of urgency of the disease is variable and difficult to control. Also, the muscle strength is better in the morning, but the symptoms worsen with the change of time. The disease also has a certain family genetic component and is most common between the ages of 10 and 35. In addition, myasthenia gravis usually affects facial expressions. Patients with myasthenia gravis are unable to make rich facial expressions, and in severe cases, it even affects speech, eating, and vision. The symptoms of myasthenia gravis are sometimes relieved and sometimes worsened, and it is difficult to be cured, which brings physical pain and psychological burden to myasthenia gravis patients. At the same time, this disease is divided into various types of ocular muscle type, medullary muscle and systemic type, and the various types may transform or combine with each other in a more variable form. Therefore, myasthenia gravis is relatively easy to diagnose, but it is difficult to achieve a cure. However, with scientific treatment and a positive attitude towards treatment, myasthenia gravis can be relieved and will not affect normal life.
