Crowns can be removed after they have been cemented in place, and can be removed using a crown remover or destructively removed as follows. 1. Crown remover: It is suitable for removing the restoration which has been loosened, inserting the hook beak of the crown remover into the edge of the restoration, and then impacting the end with the sliding hammer on the handle of the crown remover in the opposite direction of the in-position channel to shatter the adhesive, and the restoration can be dislocated. 2. Destructive crown removal: For firmly cemented restorations, the buccal side of the restoration is opened at the near-medial facet angle with a split drill, and then the edge of the crown is loosened by prying with a small chisel, and then removed with a crown remover. If you need to remove the crown, it is recommended to go to the hospital to receive regular treatment, avoid self-operation.
