A large percentage of women with fibroids are actually asymptomatic, and many women are unaware that they have fibroids, usually unintentionally discovered during a gynecological examination. Some patients do have symptoms, mainly the following: first, irregular menstruation, the location of the fibroid determines the clinical manifestation, if the fibroid is just under the mucosa or between the muscle walls, it will affect the contraction of the uterus, causing an increase in the volume of menstruation, prolongation of menstruation, and in some patients, obvious menstrual pain symptoms. Second, abdominal pain, fibroids in the process of growth will lead to abdominal pain, back pain and other symptoms. Third, the abdominal mass, for the larger fibroids, in the stomach are able to feel the obvious mass.
