How to improve recurring acne

Patients with recurring acne are usually referred to as acne vulgaris. It can be improved by general treatment, medication and physical therapy.
1. General treatment: Choose water or suitable cleansing products to remove excess oil, flakes and bacterial mixtures on the skin surface, but not over-washing, pay attention to oil control and moisturizing, and use mild moisturizing milk externally. Avoid squeezing and scratching the skin lesions with hands. Appropriately limit the intake of high glycemic index food and milk, keep bowel movement, avoid staying up all night.
2. Medication: patients can use Vitamin A acid cream, benzoyl peroxide gel and other drugs according to the doctor’s instructions. Or with oral minocycline capsules, isotretinoin soft capsules and other systemic drug therapy.
3. Physical therapy: When the sebaceous glands of patients secrete more oil, they may block the pores of the hair follicles, forming an anaerobic environment. Propionibacterium will proliferate rapidly and stimulate the skin follicles to cause inflammation, resulting in recurrent acne. Red and blue light irradiation can be used to destroy Propionibacterium acnes and reduce the inflammatory response.
Patients with recurring acne should immediately seek medical attention, go to a regular hospital examination, do targeted treatment, the use of drugs should follow the doctor’s instructions, do not self-medication, so as not to cause more serious consequences.
