How long after scaling can you brush your teeth

Generally speaking, brushing your teeth has no effect on scaling. After scaling, you can still brush your teeth according to your usual normal brushing routine. Scaling usually refers to the process of removing plaque and tartar from teeth with special ultrasonic machines and polishing the tooth surface to delay the re-deposition of plaque and tartar. Plaque and tartar cannot be removed by brushing alone, and what is removed by brushing is mainly food debris and soft tartar. Therefore, scaling and brushing are complementary and do not conflict with each other. You can brush your teeth normally after scaling. Brush your teeth carefully, 2-3 times a day, 3-5 minutes each time, and brush every part of your teeth, and use dental floss if you can’t brush cleanly. Pay attention to brush your teeth vertically, make sure not to brush horizontally, otherwise it will easily cause wedge-shaped defect of teeth. After scaling, the maintenance of oral hygiene is still very important, the correct brushing method and brushing time are very important for the maintenance of oral hygiene and the prevention of caries and periodontal disease.
