5 months old fetus can’t stop moving

In the 5th month of pregnancy, the fetus keeps moving commonly due to intrauterine distress caused by fetal hypoxia. Obstetric examination, such as ultrasound, is done to understand the condition of the fetus in the uterus and the cause of frequent fetal movements. If it is due to fetal intrauterine hypoxia, oxygen inhalation should be given promptly. It is recommended that the pregnant woman should lie on her left side, and she can receive appropriate fluids to improve the environment of fetal intrauterine hypoxia. If the fetal cord is wrapped around the neck, it can be relieved by changing the position, such as lying on the knee and chest, or doing moderate exercise, such as walking or yoga, to change the position of the fetus, so that the cord can be reduced or disappeared. With active treatment, the factors causing fetal hypoxia can be relieved or disappeared, and the fetal movement is usually significantly improved. If symptoms such as abdominal pain and vaginal bleeding occur during the treatment process, timely fetal preservation treatment should be given, and the fetus should be closely monitored in utero and the ultrasound should be reviewed regularly.
