In our clinical work, we often encounter a group of people – young people and adolescents – who are plagued by recurrent “dizziness” during the most exuberant season of their lives. Some of them are even dizzy and confused all day long, which affects their study, work and life, and is unbearable. This group of patients, who are relatively young, usually have undergone many tests, but no obvious abnormalities are seen. “They do not have real motor hallucinations, such as rotating vision, unsteadiness, usually accompanied by nausea and vomiting, but they usually feel that “dizziness” is very real. They usually feel that the “dizziness” is very real, and it haunts their lives with pain and even the desire to die! Through clinical observation, this “alternative dizziness” is effective against antidepressants. After long-term observation, these patients are very troubled, sometimes very low, lose confidence in life, interest in things diminished, many reached the “depressive state”, I will prescribe a “three-step” treatment plan: First, oral antidepressants. Second, insist on jogging every day, at least 30 minutes, rain or shine, and be persistent! Third, divert your attention, study hard, work hard, and make more friends. Report to me after this year. After six months, most patients received varying degrees of effectiveness. Finally, let’s talk about antidepressants. In fact, antidepressants are widely used in clinical practice, such as post-stroke depression, Parkinson’s disease, depressive state, migraine, tension headache, etc. What is the mechanism of that. At present, the new generation of antidepressants are more commonly used in clinical practice, such as selective 5-HT reuptake inhibitors (SSRI) (fluoxetine, paroxetine, sertraline, fluvoxamine, citalopram, etc.), which have little effect on cardiovascular and autonomic nervous system function, and the main effect is to increase 5-HT in the brain, 5-HT is the body’s “happy fruit “, regulating emotions. I hope that friends communicate more, boldly say their troubles, explain their experience, wishing every day happy!
