Can Prolactinoma be Cured with Herbal Acupuncture?

Prolactinoma can be treated with Chinese herbs and acupuncture, but it is difficult to completely cure by these two methods alone. Prolactinoma is a common hypothalamic-pituitary disease caused by excessive secretion of prolactin by pituitary prolactin cell tumors. Its typical clinical manifestations include amenorrhea, breast overflow, infertility, hyperprolactinemia and pituitary occupational lesions. The most commonly used treatments for this disease are western medicine and surgery. Chinese herbal remedies and acupuncture can have some therapeutic effect on the symptoms caused by amenorrhea and breast overflow, but it is generally difficult to cure with Chinese medicine alone. Prolactinoma cannot be treated with Chinese medicine and acupuncture alone, but needs to be combined with Western medicine to maximize the relief of symptoms. It is recommended that patients go to regular hospitals and have their doctors choose specific treatments in order to avoid any delay in their condition.
