Inactivated encephalitis B vaccination is divided into four doses. Children can receive inactivated encephalitis B vaccine at eight months of age, with the first two doses spaced 7-10 days apart, and another dose at two and six weeks of age, for a total of four doses. Mild reactions may occur when receiving inactivated encephalitis B vaccine, such as pain, redness and swelling at the injection site, as well as headaches and muscle pain that may occur, but the likelihood of a serious reaction is extremely small.
