What’s wrong with bleeding like a period when you’re pregnant?

Pregnancy bleeding blood like a period may be caused by conditions such as preterm miscarriage, preterm premature labor, placental abruption, etc., which require immediate hospital examination.
1. Pre-eclampsia: generally refers to a small amount of vaginal bleeding before 28 weeks, followed by paroxysmal lower abdominal pain or lower back pain.
2. Placental abruption: refers to partial or total detachment of the placenta from the uterine wall before delivery of the fetus. It is often characterized by persistent lower abdominal pain, with or without vaginal bleeding, and the fetus may die in a short time.
3. Preterm labor: refers to the delivery of a baby at 28 weeks but less than 37 weeks of gestation. It is mainly characterized by symptoms such as irregular lower abdominal pain, small amount of vaginal bleeding or bloody discharge.
It is not normal to have vaginal bleeding as much as menstruation when you are pregnant, and you need to go to the hospital in time for treatment, which may lead to serious consequences for the mother and fetus if not treated in time.
