Grade I glioma can be completely cured by craniotomy. Glioma is the most common malignant tumor in the skull and is classified as grade I, grade II, grade III and grade IV glioma in descending order of malignancy. Grade I glioma is very low in malignancy and is benign. It occurs in children, and the common site is the cerebellar hemispheres on both sides. The tumors are slow growing and have clear borders with the surrounding brain tissue. Surgery can completely remove the tumor, and the tumor will not recur after removal.
