Lung hyperplasia may be cancer, but it is rare. Lung proliferative foci are mainly caused by prolonged stimulation of tuberculosis, fungal infections and inflammation, which leads to scarring of the lung organs. Most of the lung proliferative foci are benign diseases, but a small number of patients with a long course of disease and serious injuries may develop malignant changes and form lung cancer, which is only relatively uncommon. Under normal circumstances, lung proliferative foci must undergo special treatment, and may improve and recover after a period of time, with regular follow-up and checkups; if coughing, coughing up blood and other manifestations occur, further examination can be carried out to clarify the nature of the disease, and treatment can be actively carried out.
