Clinically, some patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma may also experience tinnitus. There are eustachian tubes on both sides of the nasopharynx. If the nasopharyngeal carcinoma invades one side, tinnitus will occur on that side, but not on the opposite side. Tinnitus in patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma is also more common in clinical practice, and can be unilateral or bilateral. As the nasopharyngeal carcinoma lesion improves, the tinnitus symptom will be improved.
