Renal tubular injury may present with excessive daytime urination, but most patients present with increased nocturia.
Increased urine output can be seen both physiologically and pathologically. In renal tubular injury, urine volume may increase, and most patients show increased nocturia.
1. Physiological: such as excessive water intake, intravenous drip, consuming food with high water content, mental stress, hysteria, taking diuretics and so on.
2. Pathological: normal people every day through the formation of two kidneys ultrafiltration fluid that is the original urine, up to 180 liters; and the end of the urine that urine, need to be discharged out of the body, only about 1.5 liters per day. This indicates that about 99% of the water in the original urine is reabsorbed by the renal tubules and collecting ducts. Therefore, when tubular injury occurs, the reabsorption function decreases and the reabsorption of water decreases, which can lead to an increase in the amount of urine.
In addition to renal tubular injury, diabetes, kidney disease can also appear polyuria, repeated increase in urine volume should be timely to the regular hospital consultation, by the doctor to clarify the cause of the disease, give targeted treatment.
