The indications for radiotherapy for ovarian cancer are as follows: 1.Some recurrent ovarian cancers are difficult to be removed surgically and the effect of chemotherapy is not good, at this time, targeted palliative radiotherapy through intensity modulated radiation can be considered; 2.Mucinous type adenocarcinoma of ovary, clear cell carcinoma and low grade plasmacytoma are not sensitive to chemotherapy and the recurrence rate is very high after chemotherapy. If the lesion is confined to the pelvis, adjuvant treatment for ovarian cancer below stage II, i.e. local control of tumor by radiotherapy; 3. If recurrence occurs in the vagina and bleeding occurs, intracavitary radiotherapy can be used to control bleeding.
