How to treat earlobe acne

Powder tumors that occur in the earlobe can be surgically removed by routine disinfection, spreading of the surgical area, and local infiltration anesthesia with 0.5% lidocaine, with a small amount of epinephrine added to prevent intraoperative bleeding. Because the auricular head and face are rich in blood vessels and have very good blood flow, bleeding can easily occur during surgery. During surgery, care should be taken to carefully separate the lesion to avoid local contamination or recurrence due to breakage of the cystic wall of the powdery tumor. After surgery, local pressure bandages should be applied to avoid the formation of hematoma. Anti-inflammatory treatment should also be given, such as oral broad-spectrum antibacterial agents, cefadroxil tablets or erythromycin tablets.
